What you need to Walk Northumbria

Boots and warm waterproof clothing are essential in all seasons; I may not be able to take you if you are inadequately equipped. On day walks you should bring a packed lunch, a flask with a hot drink and a bottle of water. Due to the potential hazard to wildlife and livestock, I regret that no dogs are allowed on programmed walks.

To join a walk all you need to do is telephone - I will make a booking and advise you on the nature of the walk. When I have received your fee I will send you a confirmation sheet containing details of the start map references for the walks that you have booked. Bookings for Richard Holmes's walks should be made direct to Richard on 0191 252 7485.
